These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through www.loubainbridgeceramics.co.uk.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. About us

Our website is hosted on Wix.

 

2. Our products

All items are handmade ceramics. This means:

  • each piece is unique

  • small variations in size, colour, glaze, or texture are normal

  • these variations are not considered faults

Product photos are provided as a guide. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

 

3. Prices

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£)

  • Prices include VAT where applicable

  • Shipping costs are shown at checkout

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time

Once an order is placed, the price will not change.

 

4. Orders

When you place an order:

  • you are offering to purchase the item(s)

  • your order is accepted once payment is received and confirmed

  • you will receive an order confirmation email

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to stock errors, pricing errors, or suspected misuse.

 

5. Payment

Payments are taken securely through Wix’s payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal).

We do not store your full payment card details.

 

6. Shipping & delivery

  • Orders are dispatched within the timeframe stated on the product page or order confirmation

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or couriers

Ceramics are carefully packaged, but if your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.

 

7. Returns & refunds

Change of mind

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving your item.

To be eligible for a return:

  • items must be unused and in their original condition

  • you must contact us before returning anything

  • return postage is the customer’s responsibility

Refunds are issued once the item is safely returned.

Faulty or damaged items

If an item is faulty or arrives damaged, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

 

8. Custom or made-to-order items

Custom or made-to-order pieces are non-refundable, unless faulty.

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.

 

9. Care & use of ceramics

Ceramic items are intended for everyday use unless stated otherwise.

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

  • misuse

  • dropping or impact

  • exposure to sudden temperature changes

  • use contrary to care instructions

Please follow any care guidance provided with your purchase.

 

10. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential losses

  • delays beyond our control

  • damage caused after delivery

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights under UK consumer law.

 

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including images, text, and designs — belongs to Lou Bainbridge Ceramics and must not be used without permission.

 

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most recent version will always appear on this page.
